• Bespoke training is available for all school staff, including senior managers, middle managers, classroom teachers, NQT's, teaching assistants, HLTA's, Student Support Unit staff, learning mentors, non-classroom based staff, lunchtime supervisors and governors.
  
  Courses range from 1 hour to 1 day and may be on an individual or larger group basis.
  
  Content will be designed to suit the individual needs of the school, but usually includes;
  
  - Learning to behave
  - Emotions and behaviour
  - Behaviour as a whole school issue
  - Strategies for managing behaviour
  - Climate for learning
  - Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning
  
  There is no cost for this training.  However, schools may need to arrange cover for some staff as well as considering possible overtime costs for twilight or Inset day training for non-teaching staff.

To experience some of the exercises in practice

To identify how to implement the programme into school

To relate the programme to PSHE and developing emotional health and well-being in the schools To show how the programme meets the needs of the Healthy schools enhanced model. (Targeted and vulnerable)

To establish a base line on alcohol education to build on in the future

To introduce the resource “Adolescents Anonymous” to secondary schools/academies

To share good practice already in existence in our schools

To establish some consistency between secondary schools in the delivery of risk taking behaviour.

To introduce the updated primary SRE Resource – Roller Coaster and the KS1 Big Books

To provide a copy of the resources to all schools attending the training, if not already in school

To network about resources already in use for SRE.

To allow newly appointed  and current PSHE coordinators an opportunity to become familiar with the resources and methods of  use in the classroom
