Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will:

• have an increased understanding of how groups operate
• have an increased understanding of different learning styles
• be able to differentiate between ‘technique’, ‘content’ and ‘process’ in facilitation
• identify the core practices and skills required for effective facilitation
• understand how to stimulate group participation and positively handle conflict
